Sophie is a singer-songwriter studying music composition at the University of Adelaide. Sophie’s delightful rapport with young children and her musical feel make her a wonderful Encore Music course teacher. Her skills range from popular songwriting to complex music theories.

Mei is a super-talent and highly skilled violin & pianist. Mei is studying Music Education & Pedagogy at the University of Adelaide. Her creative approach to teaching classical music & her skills make Mei a brilliant teacher. Finesse and musical sophistication describe Mei beautifully.

Guitar

Declan teaches classical, contemporary & jazz guitar. He owns 5 guitars & is in 2 Adelaide bands, ‘Broken Waves’ & ‘Velvet Void’. As a teacher, Declan enjoys seeing his students develop through their music lessons, both with their guitar skills & the personal development that comes along with learning an instrument.

Casey comes from a musical family & her beautifully nurtured love for music she enjoys sharing with her students. Casey is a pianist, composer, writer, producer & her many skills are an enormous asset to her students. Her father Gil Sullivan is one of Australia’s greatest concert pianists & Casey’s exposure to performing is excellently reflected in her teaching.

Enne is an internationally performing composer and musician. Enne teaches electric bass and double bass and the Encore Music courses. Fostering creativity is one of Enne’s special teaching abilities. Enne is one of Adelaide’s most exciting musicians & recently the recipient of numerous awards including COMA’s Emerging Jazz Writers Award for 2023.

Anne has a Bachelor of Music Degree majoring in Education and Pedagogy. She is one of our specialist piano teachers and is passionate about the art of playing the piano. Student progress & accomplishment is one of Anne’s many excellent teaching abilities.

Ryan teaches voice & guitar at Adelaide Music World focusing on popular music styles, He is in a Music Performance course & enjoys passing on his love for performing to his students.

With a Masters in Piano Performance & Pedagogy from the University of Adelaide as well as a long list of awards, James offers our piano students a wealth of skills. He loves to play piano music of Brahms, Beethoven & Schubert. James believes nurturing his students’ love of music keeps them motivated to practice.

Joyce is a graduate of our school from the junior music programmes. Being a product of the Listen, Sing, Play, Read philosophy, Joyce knows how important applying this process is to creating young musicians. Teaching Encore courses and beginner piano, Joyce is focused on getting our young students off to the best possible start.

Colombian born, Juan is a musician of incredible versatility. Trained in classical, pop, traditional Colombian styles and ensemble direction he is an inspiring musician & teacher. He is an accomplished classical guitarist & places importance on good technical. Juan believes music studies have a great impact on young lives.

Violin

Our violin specialist, Kaitlin is dedicated to inspiring her students. She believes the more students practice the more they enjoy music. Producing quality sounds on the violin from the beginning is one of her teaching priorities. Kaitlin enjoys the music of Mozart & Verdi.
